When excessies but multiply
And you have to choose of
Life, death or other painfulness
Think of Christ, never give in
Will is needed in the fight
Mortal devil mocking life
Shock with what a body
Worn - 'Tis a garment, let
them have their fairshare
While you but have
All eternity can give.
