As long as you are a child,
No difference than to a slave;
Disciplined not to be wild;
And punished when you misbehave.
The owner of everything,
Is God the Divine Almighty;
To whom we are supposed to cling,
While we follow His decree.
But Christ is under protectors,
And managers until the date;
For guarding against infectors,
As the Father tells Him to wait.
When we were children the same way,
Of this world that we were enslaved;
Obedient as to not to stray,
In the manner that we behaved.
But when the fullness of time came,
The Father had sent forth His Son;
In order for Him to proclaim,
All that had been stated was done.
For to redeem under the Law,
So that everyone receive;
A method for healing the flaw,
Only to those who will believe.
Receive adoption as a son,
Who is your heavenly Father;
And that salvation had begun,
Through Jesus Christ as your Brother.
You are His sons and daughters,
God sent His Spirit of His Son;
Through the baptismal waters,
That transformation had begun.
Abba! Father! Cries in the heart,
So, you are no longer a slave;
Sons and daughters to impart,
Who will be rescued from the grave.
For there are no earthly pleasures,
For you matches for that awaits;
Receiving heavenly treasures,
Upon arrival at the gates.
