Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

I exhort the elders,

To witness sufferings;

Of all the defenders,

That you are wondering.

Being a partaker,

In glory as revealed;

About our Maker,

That has been now unsealed.

Shepherd the flock of God,

Taking the oversight;

Not to stray become flawed,

Remaining in the light.

Not under compulsion,

And not by constraint;

All without convulsion,

Argument nor complaint.

Never for shameful gain,

Never domineering;

Never to induce pain,

To cause any fearing.

A shepherd to the flock,

To be an example;

What you do how you talk;

Godly to the people.

The chief Shepherd appears,

Giving the sacred crown;

To the one that reveres,

When our Lord comes down.

So, you who are younger,

Be subject to seniors;

Never be a monger,

Respect higher tenures.

Clothe with humility,

Between one another;

Humbled ability,

Respecting each other.

For God opposes pride,

Being humble gives grace;

Remember why Christ died,

And revived to embrace.

Be sober and aware,

Of Satan as your foe;

Watch out for any snare,

For causing sin to flow.
