Away from eyes,
unable to see any
telltale sign of
body language;
just by hearing
only the voice,
we can tell a lot.
It's the traitor tongue
that gives out
well kept secret
to the listener;
futile to mask
voice by acting,
to hide emotions
from the traitor.
Words are spoken
and the meaning
of words may
not have the same
expressed emotions.
"I love you" may sound
without any love.
Traitor tongue will
reveal it all.
Anger, joy, love and hate;
deep sorrow and the
attitude "I don't care";
