Tempted
Christ was tempted just like I
am tempted and unlike me, He
Never gave in,
Christ was tempted by the same
Serpent who tempted Eve,
Christ was tempted in the
Wilderness while Eve was tempted
In the garden of Eden,
While Eve gave in after being
Tempted, Christ did not give in
Even though He was tempted too,
Christ was tempted just like
We are and He can help us
Withstanding temptation
Especially by prayer,
Christ was tempted just like
We are and being tempted I'd
A sign that Satan hates us.
