Ever Free
Ever Free
Written by Adam M Snow
The stars, they dance so ever free,
around a child and her misery.
In the air so gracefully,
like a dancer ever free.
But woe it is a shame to see,
a child entwined in her misery.
You ask how can this be,
that the stars would dance so ever free,
while her tears fall gracefully,
as she lay in her misery.
Oh, but memory; oh memory,
she remembers of thee.
A pain to live in captivity,
while you dance so ever free.
But oh the stars, they truly see,
a broken heart, oh tragedy.
A play on words with misery.
Ev'ry moment, like a drop to the sea.
Oh, but how can it be,
that the stars would dance so ever free;
If not to calm this shattered beauty,
to erase her misery,
and to rewrite her story,
the innocent of a melody,
in which she would dance so ever free.
