We always thank our God,
The Father of our Lord;
When we do honor and laud,
Remaining in one accord.
About your faith we have heard,
In Jesus Christ of the love;
Keep abiding in the Word,
Because of blessings thereof.
For I have hope in Heaven,
Heard before of the truth;
On the Gospel as given,
Ever since from days of my youth.
For it has come unto you,
As indeed in the whole world;
Bearing of fruit that is true,
As the plan being unfurled.
Since the day that you heard it,
Understood God and His grace;
Just as you learned not to quit,
For the future that we face.
God has made known unto us,
Of your love in the Spirit;
Whence the day we heard as thus,
Prayed for you to inherit.
May you be filled with wisdom,
With the knowledge of His will;
Understanding His Kingdom,
For His Spirit to instill.
Walk in a worthy manner,
Fully pleasing to the Lord;
Proclaiming with His banner,
Remaining in one accord.
Bear fruit in all that is good,
As His knowledge increases;
Doing everything as should,
With prayer that never ceases.
He saved us from the domain,
Of darkness and into light;
The redemption that we gain,
Through forgiveness that is bright.
