We know that if our home,
This place where we are living;
That maybe cause us to roam,
Allows us to keep sinning.
Let us dismantle this place,
It was built with human hands;
While the Lord in His grace,
Builds a new with His commands.
For the house that the Lord built,
Is eternal in Heaven;
Free of any shame or guilt,
As a gift it is given.
For we groan with desire,
Living in this earthly place;
As Heaven we require,
Because we are a disgrace.
We will not be found naked,
When in my heavenly home;
No longer be degraded,
No longer wanting to roam.
Because we are weighted down,
We do not want to be nude;
Always with wearing this frown,
Being obnoxiously rude.
For that is what is mortal,
And has swallowed up my life;
For the heavenly portal,
Leaves behind toils and strife.
The one who has prepared us,
For this purpose, has been God;
Gave us His Spirit as thus,
For ridding us of where flawed.
We always have full courage,
As long as we are alive;
Until we have reached the stage,
When Jesus Christ does arrive.
We live by faith, not by sight,
Through our courage and hope;
Waiting for the Lord to light,
Getting rid of what we cope.
For the day that we appear,
In front of the Judgment seat;
Jesus Christ will calm the fear,
As we will finally meet.
