Lifting Grace

In the small moments of the morning, I stand in awe.
The darkness lightly lingers, yet, slowly fades.
The eyes of dawn begin to glow as daybreak shows.
Parcels of light ignite to bid farewell to the silent night.
Sunrise, sunset, in a timely fashion, tells a story.
The light and darkness hold no glory.
Earth and sky of ageless grace smile softly into our Maker's Face.
A timely light fills the heavens as Mother Earth spins in the peaceful sky.
Generations pass on by, but life moves on the earthen sighs.
The Hall of souls fills then spills.
No cosmic force has sought it's still, I place my life in God's loving will.
I walk this place and bow my head to His lifting grace.
