Train Station

Where the heart wanders and why? I
find no answer. Its as though sitting at
a train station waiting for love to arrive.

Walking down a busy street with strangers
passing by , thinking surely with so many
people isn't' there one who catch's my eye.

Traveling abroad  and to forgein lands
watching lovers kissing and holding hands
spelling the words I love you in the sand.

Returning to past lived places enjoying
a few old familiar faces. reminiscing days
gone by, and always sad news ones died.

My heart still wanders but now I don't ask why?
"All aboard" said the conductor, I smiled at the
kind gesture assisting me to step inside,

I decided life's too short to wait for love to arrive
