 Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

poetryofadove
The coastlands have seen,
As they are afraid;
Tremors that have been,
Because they have strayed.

For they have drawn near,
Neighbor aids neighbor;
Calm them from their fear,
As feelings labor.

They say to be strong,
The craftsman strengthens;
As the quakes prolong,
Duration lengthens.

He strikes the anvil,
Smooths with his hammer;
Crushing out evil,
That lured with glamor.

Now good says the Lord,
Nailing not to move;
Secured to the board,
So not to remove.

God took as a friend,
As the chosen One;
For not to offend,
Rather as a Son.

For as the elect,
Not to cast away;
Never to neglect,
But trust and obey.

The Lord is with you;
So be not dismayed;
What you do pursue,
Never be afraid.

He holds your right hand,
For you not perish;
What life might demand,
You He does cherish.
