Love Between Sisters and Brothers
There is something special between sisters and brothers.
In between the fights,
We are always there for each other.
I have been blessed, because you see, I have three.
Each one I cherish, because of what they taught me.
When I was young they taught me to play with dolls,
Helped me develop my imagination while doing it all.
The many times playing house, of course I played the role of dad,
I didn't know then, but it was the greatest lesson I have had.
Now that I am older, have daughters for real.
I realize they all taught me,
Learned how to feel.
They taught me what to expect,
Although something's are still a surprise.
But now when I am playing dolls with my daughters I realize.
How great it is to have these women in my life.
Who showed me how to play girls games, how to play them right.
I hope each one knows, I am greatful, for all the lessons good and bad.
The love I have for them, for teaching me to be a dad.
