'' The Fact They'll Die Rich ''

With outstanding ability,
We deal in futility,
Yes, we cure but we love to destroy,
The human capability,
Is laced with fragility,
As our intelligence, we refuse to deploy.

What we're doing is a crime,
We've a mountain to climb,
If our future means anything to us,
That life we begrime,
Has a limited time,
We'll all die if we don't make a fuss.

Wasting billions in space,
Is such a disgrace,
While millions die of war and starvation,
We refuse to face,
We can't keep up the pace,
We are looking at eternal damnation.

A minority, the few,
Dictate what we do,
What they demand they do not re-enact,
They haven't a clue,
About me or you,
That my friends is a fact.

While we live in squalor,
They worship the dollar,
Living life in their opulent ways,
As our incomes get smaller,
You will hear them holler,
No, you cannot get a raise.

It's truth not a lie,
Life passes them by,
But for them there's only one hitch,
When things go awry,
Death they cannot deny,
They deplore,
