CELESTIAL ETERNITY

Jesus The Messiah

The name Jehovah is incorrect sound pronociation of YHWH
Those four Hebrew letters
Don't have the sound Jehovah
In Hebrew the sound of the four letters YHWH
Is pronounced as Yahweh

The word Yahweh
Is the sound of Hebrew letters
Refering To the Great I Am
The Great I am is God the Father

Jesus the Messiah
Is the name we have for salvation
In english it is Jesus Christ
God the Father's only begotten Son
In hebrew it is Yeshua Hamashiach
The name of our Lord and Savior

Psalm 110:1 ESV says
The Lord said to my Lord
Sit at my right hand
Until I make Your enemies
Your footstool

Psalm 2:12 ESV says
Kiss the Son, lest He be angry,
And you perish in the way,
For His wrath is quickly kindled.
Blessed are all who take refuge in Him.

So Jesus Christ
Yeshua Hamashiach
Jesus the Messiah
Is a name for us
To call upon and to be saved by
For indeed it is His name
And not a title

It is not a title such as Lord
Nor titles such as
Father, Son, Holy Spirit
Those words do refer
To the one and only
Triune God in Three Persons
Elohim the blessed Holy Trinity

They are titles
Even when you say
We baptize you
In the name of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
The actual name is Jesus Christ.

For what is the name of
Father, Son, Holy Spirit
Even though they refer to God
And our God obviously knows
When you refer to Him in titles

But the name given to us
For salvation
Is Jesus Christ
For there is no other name

Except for Jesus Christ
Yeshua Hamashiach
Jesus the Messiah

Someday God will reveal to us
More names
As stated in the book of Revelation
When He comes to recreate
The heaven and earth

But the only name
We have for salvation
Is Jesus Christ
Yeshua Hamashiach
Jesus the Messiah

Blessed are they
Who take refuge in Him
For through Him
We have life everlasting.

Through Him
We have access to God
The Heavenly Father

John 1:16-18 ESV
16 For from His fullness
we have all received, grace upon grace.
17 For the law was given through Moses;
Grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
18 No one has ever seen God;
The only God, Who is at the Father's side,
He has made Him known

The only name for us
To be saved by is
Jesus Christ
In Hebrew the name is
Yeshua Hamashiach
Jesus the Messiah

John 1:1-9 ESV scripture says
In the beginning was the Word,
And the Word was with God,
And the Word was God.
He was in the beginning with God.

All things were made through Him,
And without Him
Was not any thing made that was made.
In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
The light shines in the darkness, and
The darkness has not overcome it.

In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God
Meaning God the Son was with God the Father
And the Word was God
Meaning the Word was God the Son

Together God the Father with
God the Son
And the Holy Spirit of God
Are Elohim the Holy Trinity
The one and only Triune God
Who always existed

And the word became flesh
And dwelt amoung us
Meaning God the Son became flesh.
And dwelt amoung us
Everything was created through Him
By God the Father

Matthew 3:16-17 ESV
And when Jesus was baptized,
Immediately He went up
From the water,
And behold, the heavens
Were opened to Him,
And He saw the Spirit of God
Descending like a dove
And coming to rest on Him;
And behold, a voice from heaven said,
"This is my beloved Son,
With whom I am well pleased."

The Holy Spirit of God descended on
Jesus Christ
Yeshua Hamashiach
Jesus the Messiah

And God the Father
Spoke of Him from heaven.
Saying this is my beloved Son
In whom I am well pleased...

John 6:35-40 ESV

35 Jesus said to them,
"I am the bread of life;
whoever comes to Me shall not hunger,
and whoever believes in Me shall never thirst.

36 But I said to you
That you have seen Me
and yet do not believe.

37 All that the Father gives Me
will come to Me,
and whoever comes to Me I will never cast out.

38 For I have come down from heaven,
not to do My own will
But the will of Him who sent Me.

39 And this is the will of Him who sent Me,
that I should lose nothing of all
that He has given Me,
but raise it up on the last day.

40 For this is the will of my Father,
that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in Him
should have eternal life,
and I will raise him up on the last day."

Yahweh Is Not Jehovah

During the intertestamental period of Israel, around 500 BC, the Jews became very concerned with not blaspheming the name of the Lord. So rather than saying the name Yahweh, they would say Elohim instead, which is the Hebrew word for god. However, this did not solve the problem of what to do when one came across the name Yahweh during the reading of the Scriptures.
The Jews decided that when they came to the name "YHWH" they would say the Hebrew word adonay, which means "Lord." To remind the reader to say "adonay," and to maintain the presence of the word "YHWH," they assigned the vowels of "adonay" into the consonants of "YHWH." However, it was never intended that this form be read aloud.

During the Middle Ages scholars began to read the consonants of "YHWH" with the vowels of "adonay," which resulted in the word "Jehovah," an artificial word bearing no relation to the name of the God of Israel in biblical times.
Because the Germans were the first to make this transfer it was written Jehovah instead of Yehowah since j's and w's are pronounced as y's and v's.

"It is quite certain, however, that the ancient Israelites never used this term for their God; formally it is like a genetic hybrid, as artificial as the words ‘eledile' and ‘crocophant.'" (Tryggve N. D. Mettinger. In Search of God: The Meaning and Message of the Everlasting Names, p. 16.)
