Vibrant Season
It was a beautiful day. The trees still bare, but there is a bud here and there.
My lazy cat sleeps by my picture window, what an easy life she lives.
There is much comfort she gives.
My life is shimmering in sunlight glimmer, the night hours becomes slimmer.
More light comes our way, more warmth that begins to stay.
I long to walk the knolls and glimpse on land alive, and watch the birds that thrive.
In my eyes a light appears and wash away the troubled fears.
The land holds out her hand, a vibrant season is born again to the Meadowlands.
