Poetic-Verses

'' Are We Really That Blind ''

If by nature we live,
There may be a chance,
Don't take but give,
We could well advance.

Where love not hate,
Becomes the norm,
We're in charge of our fate,
It is time to reform.

Treasure all life,
Let everything thrive,
Alleviate all strife,
Then we may survive.

We must show our willing,
What we're doing is a crime,
Stop wanton killing,
Make genocide a crime.

In a state of confusion,
The argument is growing,
No, it's not an illusion,
Our advancement is slowing.

The powers that be,
Are all fully aware,
They don't want us to see,
That they don't really care.

A life based on need,
Is not too much to ask,
It's better than greed,
Is it too hard a task?

As long as gold glistens,
And diamonds are friends,
When nobody listens,
Our time here ends.

It's extinction we're grooming,
But we don't seem to mind,
Our demise is now looming,
