Give thanks unto the Lord,
Because of steadfast love;
Being loved and adored,
Freely flows from above.
Love endures forever,
For He is God of gods;
Love that will not sever,
Like others which are frauds.
Give thanks unto the Lord,
Who is the Lord of lords;
Walking in one accord,
Cherishing His rewards.
A love that is steadfast,
Forever it endures;
Love that will ever last,
A love that reassures.
For He does great wonders,
Our Lord does alone;
The lightnings and thunders,
Conducted from His throne.
He has understanding,
As He made the Heaven;
And ground we are standing,
Nourishment has given.
He had spread out the earth,
Above all the waters;
Has given us to birth,
To make sons and daughters.
He had made the great light,
Because of steadfast love;
Making it nice and bright,
Up in Heaven above.
The sun rules over day,
Giving mercy and grace;
For the sun will obey,
And His love will embrace.
The moon will rule by night,
Along with all the stars;
As it shines pure and bright,
And the Lord heals the scars.
Give thanks unto the Lord,
As we know He is good;
Lovingly He endured,
When we do not as should.
