 Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

poetryofadove
We have this treasure,
Within jars of clay;
Heavenly pleasure,
For hope in that day.

Impressive power,
That belongs to God;
We do not dower,
Because we are flawed.

We go through trouble,
On every side;
But pulled from rubble,
If we do abide.

For we are perplexed,
Driven to despair;
For what may be next,
Of a likely snare.

We have been knocked down,
And persecuted;
But a thorny crown,
From those disputed.

But not abandoned,
And never destroyed;
Even though they shunned,
Their actions are void.

I carry the death,
Of Jesus the Christ;
With every breath,
That I sacrificed.

For we are alive,
Because of His death;
Continue to thrive,
Speaking with each breath.

For death works in us,
But life works in you;
If your faith as thus,
And belief is true.

Look not for things seen,
Rather of what not;
As told, what has been,
Of what faith has sought.
