Sour Grapes

I wonder how they sleep at night
After childish verbal scrapes
And why they cannot seem to end
Their love for sour grapes.

And strive to live in harmony
At least with family
Instead of choosing to despise
The ones who disagree.

For what good will it do them
Does it get them anywhere
To condescend and stay puffed up
On nothing but hot air?

And open up those senseless wounds
Which may not ever heal
Because they can't accept the fact
That some don't share their zeal.

So, they become obnoxious
As relationships are destroyed
And never seem to understand
Why others are annoyed.

Yes, I wonder how they sleep at night
After childish verbal scrapes
And why they cannot seem to end
Their love for sour grapes.
