Poetic-Verses

'' No Amount Of Cash Can Buy God ''

Quasi Modo cried out,
Be in no doubt,
Though my home was almost destroyed,
You're not being devout,
Common decency you flout,
The truth is I am really annoyed.

All that money donated,
It has to be stated,
Could be put to far better use,
What you've demonstrated,
Has indicated,
To crawl you'll use any excuse.

Who gave the most?
Is what they all boast,
Each day there's a new addition,
My home is now toast,
Yet you want to post,
What is, the road to perdition.

The things some will do,
To get a revue,
In reality they make me feel grief,
What they pursue,
I'll tell you, it's true,
On their taxes they'll then claim relief.

There are no tricks,
Buy a crucifix,
There's nowhere on Earth you can't pray.
A billion to fix,
What is mortar and bricks?
Help the needy, yes, do it today.

Was I not insured?
My future secured,
If not, then something is wrong,
Truth's being obscured,
I am not reassured,
Their case for more money is strong.

I am in the know,
To a new home I'll go,
Your concept of Heaven is flawed,
Let your fortune grow,
But I must let you know,
