I rejoice greatly to find,
Children walking in the truth;
Having a spiritual mind,
Still with being in their youth.
Just as we were commanded,
By the Father through the Son;
As His Law has demanded,
That all is righteously done.
Not as though of what I write,
Rather a new commandment;
From the beginning you might,
Try to remain compliant.
We must love one another,
And this is love that we walk;
Treating them as your brother,
To be kind on how you talk.
As you have heard from the start,
So that you should walk in it;
Remember to take to heart,
Maintaining a right spirit.
Because many deceivers,
Into the world have gone out;
They are not true believers,
While holding so much doubt.
Those who would never confess,
The coming of Jesus Christ;
A false god they will profess,
Others will become enticed.
Antichrist and deceiver,
Has a tendency to bait;
Altering a believer,
Enables to seal their fate.
Watch out that you may not lose,
All of which we have worked toward;
We have the right to refuse,
To win with a full reward.
Anyone who goes ahead,
Does not abide of what taught;
They will have Satan instead,
In the darkness they have sought.
If you abide in teaching,
Of both the Father and Son;
Pay attention to preaching,
In the Word what has begun.
