Build bridges not walls
From Shankill to the Falls
Let the peace flags fly
United in peace we still ask why
Our children, our future, show us the way
Ireland our country, we'll all have our say
The divide in our land has gone forever
No more walls for ever and ever
A friendly smile from a friend near bye
Living together no need to cry
We've lost those years like the dark of the night
Never forgotten with freedom in sight
Dark clouds gone in our lovely land
Sunshine forever in Ireland
Walk in peace behind the wall
Embrace a friend, never to fall
Build bridges not walls
