Put your faith to the test,
Or do you not realize;
You do not have the zest,
Be spiritually wise.
Unless indeed you fail,
That Jesus is in you;
To your cross that you nail,
As able to be true.
I hope that you will find,
That you fail not the test;
And that in heart and mind,
That you do what is best.
But I pray to the Lord,
That you may not do wrong,
And you are not ignored,
Your pain does not prolong.
Not that we may appear,
In having met the test;
For it is right to fear,
God to venture your quest.
I cannot do something,
Being against the truth;
As it did one time bring,
Through the years of my youth.
For we are glad when we,
Are weak and you are strong;
Having insight to see,
What you are doing wrong.
Restoration I pray,
And the reason I write;
That you follow His way,
Travelling towards the light.
Because I write these things,
While I am away;
The goodness that it brings,
So that you do not stray.
Comfort one another,
Greet with a holy kiss;
In peace with your brother,
Showing how much, you miss.
Think Christianity,
Fellowship as you laud;
The Holy Trinity,
Homage to the true God.
