I once was lost but now I see.
This is my story of the way things were and are with me.
I write this piece to offer my story to you with the Lord's help.
In my teenage years, I was not a rebellious son.
It was true of me for being in church plus singing in the choir.
My school days were the lonely times when I was to myself most of the time.
On the first day of school, I would take my Bible along with me.
Was true I didn't play around or cut up while in class.
My adult years found me working a job five days a week sometimes six days.
There was time for God of course.
I was known to make good money with the job I had.
Later in my adult life, I had got to the point of losing my ability to walk.
I had suffered the loss of my mother first then my dad.
Having to continue in a nursing facility I got to the point of being able to do somethings.
Then wound up in an assisted living facility.
Today from having a stroke on my right side I am back in a nursing home where I will spend
the rest of my life here with the others.
