the halls of my memories infiltrate my mind,
body, and soul;
picturing images of the times we shared,
the pain, love, fun, despair,
and all of the holiday cheer;
when nighttime calls
my deepest darkest secrets are revealed,
thought to be concealed
but it is something about the nightfall
that calls moonlit shine to brighten my mind
