In the courtrooms of America
We can settle out of court.
At times we see it as a blessing...
At times it is a last resort.
But have we given any thought
To the Highest Court of all?
We have been plaqued by sin
Since and caused by Adam's fall!
In God's Court of Law and Judgement
We are judged in these three ways...
What we think and what we say...
Plus our every action still displays
Our continued guilt by breaking
Even one of His commands.
So, in order to fully escape
What the rule of law demands
We have got to settle out of court...
Not go before The Great White Throne!
For to appear before this court is like
Dreading Hell to be our Home!
Satan will be there accusing!
What can we say in our defence?
We know we are guilty as we're charged!
We know our sinlife's been immence!
So what exactly does it entail
For us to settle out of court?
There is One way and One way only
And only His way from henceforth.
If two or more come to agreement...
A case can be settled without flair.
And at the Judgement Seat of Christ
We'll find no Satan standing there!
Christ payed the debt of sin we owed...
He satisfied God's Rule of Law.
He helped us settle out of court
And cancelled every wrong God saw.
We'll be rewarded, not condemned...
Such is our faith in Jesus Christ...
For we have settled through His Blood...
Relying on His sacrifice.

1 John 1:8
If we claim to be without sin, we deceive
ourselves and the truth is not in us.
1 Corinthians 10:5
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing
that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God,
and bringing into captivity every thought to the
obedience of Christ;
Revelation 20: 11-15
Then I saw a greatwhite throne and him who was seated on it.
The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and there
was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing
before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened,
which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they
had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were
in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each
person was judged according to what they had done. Then death and Hades
were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death.
Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life
was thrown into the lake of fire.
2 Corinthians 5: 9-10
So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home
in the body or away from it. 1For we must all appear before the
judgment seatofChrist, so that each of us may receive what is due us
for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.
Hebrews 9:14
How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through
the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse
our consciences from acts that lead to death,a so that
we may serve the living God!
