'' The Road To Perdition ''
As we age,
You'd need a sage,
To predict how the future lies,
At every stage,
As we turn the page,
What's ahead we need to revise.
For some it's, need,
Others it's greed,
You have those who couldn't care less,
What makes you bleed,
Some just don't heed,
They live to cause others stress.
Those who care,
Do hate despair,
They Desire a life filled with bliss,
You'll be fully aware,
They're willing to share,
A request they would never dismiss.
Those who hate,
Just cannot wait,
To inflict their hatred on others,
There is no debate,
They love to frustrate,
Goodness to them is what smothers.
Right at the heart,
Though our peers play a part,
What's inside is what really endures,
If you are smart,
Today you will start,
Lifting the veil that obscures.
There's no in-between,
Some laud some demean,
They don't want to change what they do,
While they love obscene,
Others keep it clean,
Ask yourself,
Which one are you.
It may seem strange,
But anyone can change,
You don't need to ask for permission,
A new life's in range,
If old ways you exchange,
You can avoid,
