Widow's Dance

Resting on a web lace
Black widows seek a peaceful place
Friends and family gather looming grace
Darkness fills the cloudy day
Arachnids refresh their silent stay
Looking into one another's eye's
Awaiting for a tasty fly
Be by one they refresh
Held softly in a silky mesh
When strength regains
Red hourglass claims her rash domain
Eight legs dances in the acid rain
A lover's bite is not in vain
Brief gatherings in solemn pain
Well rested, well fed
The widow's dance is hanging from a thread
