Let us love one another,
For love is coming from God;
Whoever loves each other,
Will also honor and laud.
Whoever loves has been born,
Born of God and also knows;
In Heaven they will sojourn,
By living life where love flows.
Anyone who does not love,
Neither are they knowing God;
Because God is love thereof,
Iniquities made them flawed.
For love was made manifest,
Since God sent His only Son;
Being set out on a quest,
Through the Father had been done.
God sent Him into the world,
So that we might live through Him;
Because His plan was unfurled,
Since His people had felt grim.
Love not that we have loved God,
Rather that He has loved us;
Even though we have been flawed,
His Son has atoned as thus.
We ought to love each other,
Merely as God has loved us;
Treat your sister and brother,
As every bit as thus.
For no one has ever seen,
God in all of His glory;
But God abides in has been,
Told in the Gospel story.
By this we know we abide,
In Him since He has given;
His Holy Spirit to guide,
Us on the path to Heaven.
There is no fear in His love,
For perfect love casts out fear;
Since fear is a wrath thereof,
And love gives us a good cheer.
