Cathedral's Light
The soft glow of Summer's night looks through my open window
I see the towering crystal gables shimmering bright
Peaceful song ignites the rhythm of the soul's delight
People passing on the street a welcome breeze in Summer's heat
An image of hope and love placed within the Maker's silky glove
Beyond the cathedral's glow the starlit night of long ago
Shepherds abide by their lambs with care
Songs of angels embrace the air
Drifting moments of ancient wild
Beholds the warmth of a Holy child
A glimpse of pure delight
Precious healing of this night
Cathedral's ageless sight
