The Hidden Pond

Year's began to clutter her life, it was slipping away
The night of her years surrendered the day
She walks the edge for the last time
A solace moment ignites her walk
The pond and trees glitter in a peaceful breeze
Her soul slips in solemn ease
Into the steps past seven, she realizes it was a glimpse of heaven
She finds rest in glowing moments she finds her eternal nest
the light shimmers in twilights best
The jewel of night shares a crystal after light
