She Was A Masterpiece

She was a masterpiece,
put together in front of my eyes.
She was put together right.
I asked her name, she snapped at me.
She's beautiful but the problem is she bites.
I said I don't want to fight.
I just want to know your name.
She got a look of anguish,
like I just put her through her worst pain.
She shook her head, looked up,
As if she prayed for rain.
She looked left then right.
Then she disappeared out of my sight.
As though I was an eyesore,
a blight, a nasty stain.
I thought to myself beauty gave her her fame.
But she ran off into the woods,
Then disappeared in a flame.
