Flaming Dusk


Ruby corundum blazing light
Mountains line in the silent night
The voice of peace of crimson sight
Ageless view of beauty's best
Has brought the sun to sleeping rest
Near but far a twinkle of a silver star
Taking sunsets to midnights jar
A brazen light of passing sight
That holds the glory near and far
Sunset holds the peace of the distant star
