I ask you not to lose heart, Over our suffering; For the glory you impart, Christ gives as the buffering.
This is why I bow my knees, Before God our Father; While praying with my pleas, Through Jesus our Brother.
Whom every family, In Heaven and on the earth; Regardless or not holy, Has given each of them birth.
He may grant you be strengthened, With power through His Spirit; Assuring your life lengthened, By your faith and your merit.
So that Christ dwells in your heart, Through faith and grounded in love; Deeply rooted to impart, His Word flowing from above.
May the strength to comprehend, With all of the saints in breadth; With the length that will extend, Exceeds with every breath.
For to know the love of Christ, That passes human knowledge; May be filled and not enticed, By what others acknowledge.
Now to Him who is able, Does far more abundantly; Ask and think what is stable, To work done diligently.
Glory to God in the church, Throughout all generations; Only through Jesus to search, Having no expirations.
Keeping Christ through all ages, Forever world without end; Of your life through all stages, As He is your God and friend.
Know the love of Jesus Christ, With all the fullness of God; And why He was sacrificed,
And why you honor and laud. Vote for this poem
