My Loss
 
Missing you is not easy
It clouds all my thoughts and my dreams
Decisions I make feel never for certain
As is all things in life so it seems?
 
Everything changed in an instant
Heartache destroyed all I knew
Confusion reigned and life became painful
My mind like my heart broke in two.
 
Nothing has been the same ever-after
The years have just hid the true cost
My whole life a story worth telling
If only to tell of my loss.
