Why?
This poem I write, freely borne,
posture made and quantity shorn,
of bad examples knowingly lade,
accounted for and willingly made,
are here to abate, at lest in part,
past mistakes, and be a start.
Complaints,
Now common goals pull together,
but sour gist when sweet is better,
can rip apart and shrink self worth,
that grudge enlarged here on earth
Inclusion,
Once a man, though failed well,
abused his guile for you to sell,
confused the treasure which he had,
more than stench, that giver's dad
Disposition,
Disordered thoughts, dirty due,
related young, it came at you,
haste mutated inside to lend,
made a hate that no one wins
Advice,
Sometimes love fades out the door,
never to be found around any more.
Then what is left, transparent love,
is pushed away with hooded glove
Termination,
Mortality short, before it's through,
you will find it is leaving you,
So learn to treasure what is life,
and enjoy the stress and strife
Fruition,
Love is just a disposition of feeling fine,
And those kind of feelings fade with time,
So if loved ones leave, fill up with gladness
as time washes away aches and sadness,
Eventuality,
Don't destroy the sweets of pleasure,
By wanting more of earthly treasure,
Education is not measured by the yard,
But that doesn't mean to not study hard
Cognizance,
Knowledge can be a weapon in life,
But it's always a two edged knife,
He that does rag to riches brags,
Probably did not start from rags
The Lessening,
I don't expect support when I'm through,
Any more than I would support to you,
Responsibility ended when you were grown,
After that you are on your own
Honor,
So how you travel, by bus or limousine,
Rich or poor, as wealthy is seen,
Honor always your words and name,
But don't expect others to do the same.
Wholeness,
If being good to people is what you do,
Don't expect them to be good to you,
If you don't understand this kind of rubble
You could end up in unnecessary trouble.
Chance,
Buy a lottery ticket 365 days a year,
Chances are you'll never get rich I fear,
To strike it rich, work hard,
No free breakfast, no flush card
Departure,
No matter how much time we had,
I put stock in it, and I am glad,
Who knows we could meet again
I watched you grow, and to that Amen
