No Need for Anxiousness
The preacher spoke on anxiousness
Which some found rather odd
And yet, his words spoke confidence
To those who trust in God.
Giving them a calm assurance
And made them more aware
That sins are simply washed away
By obedience and through prayer.
Which leaves no room for putting off
Or sitting on the fence
While doing things to please the world
And dabbling in pretense.
Yes, life is filled with angst and doubt
As history will record
But there's no condemnation for
The ones who love the Lord.
So, there's no need for anxiousness
And the preacher made the case
That man can live with confidence
By trusting in God's grace.
