  Summers Cheer

I sit overlooking an empty pool.
Summer sizzles, dry heat fizzle
Bring the rain let it drizzle
Schools out just in time for summer drought

Camping, fishing, swimming in the lake
Next door invitation for a clam bake
Many things to do, for me and you
Fast bikes, deep woods hikes

When night comes around
Frogs and crickets sound
Full moon and endless stars
Lightning flies in a jar

Enjoy the magic day or night
Summer leaves to soon from sight
Anytime of year the peace of love stands near
So feel the seasons cheer, and live the moment clear
