Harry Sweeden. My life in verse.

True love
When the sunrise fails to rise in the sky
And dark clouds threaten my day
When the morning bird song seems out of tune…
I remember how I begged you to stay.
I could not understand what was happening to me…?
It seems that my whole life was falling apart
I cried so much my mothers heart was broken
And this was only the start.
For years I waited hoping in vain
That somehow you’d find a way back to me
There was never a day that I wouldn’t pray
That your face was the one face I’d see.
Now decades have past, 4 to be honest
But now I smile when I think of you
Those wonderful moments I’ll remember forever
When I fell so deeply in a love that was true.
