does my aching head
belong in this poem? does the fact that the world is on fire and that people are over-heated belong (HERE)? does it matter that I feed the crows and the squirrels almonds every day? do any of these small things belong here in this poem? OR do the details of your life randomly seem not to matter? do you care if I write poems filled with in-congruent grocery lists? do you really care what I think at all? or does what anyone else thinks, matter..... tell me tell me now... do you talk to strangers on the bus OR do you deliberately avoid the idleness of chatter? do you say thank you for the fresh coffee? ia it important to say little things that matter? thank you kindly and have a fine day I see you as you are I apologize...you ARE right I HEAR you...and yes, what you have to say and yes--you-- do truly matter does your head hurt from all the minutiae you think, hear or see, each and every day? OR.... do the thought clouds of yours simply pile up, then scatter? do you wonder if any one else is thinking of you in this moment right now, does the lack of consideration, make you much sadder? (how much do you care and would you, could you, say it -- does it really matter? how much do YOU or how little do YOu count and in the long run does it seem to you your worth is served out on a platter?) ******************************************************************************* LEGAL COPYRIGHT FOR THIS POEM SIX TWENTY ONE AM PST 8/5/2019 TIME DATE STAMPED AND ALSO FOR THIS POET/WRITER/AUTHOR MELISSA A HOWELLS AND ALSO FOR THIS LEGALLY COPYRIGHTED SITE TITLE MELOO STRAIGHT FROM HER TILT-A-WORLD Vote for this poem |
