Lord, how majestic is Your name,
You sent your glory from above;
Your creation will always proclaim,
Being nourished by all Your love.
How excellent in all the earth,
Of glory above from Heaven;
For us to produce babes through birth,
A means to be fruitful given.
Out of the mouth of the infants.
You gave strength because of Your foes,
For tolerance to give patience,
So that all of the anger slows.
For the mightiest enemy,
And to still any avenger;
Will be able to calm the sea,
For to minimize the danger.
Whenever I think of Heaven,
The work of the moon and the stars;
In which you set to have given,
Would fill a library of memoirs.
What is man that You are mindful,
For the Son of man that You care;
Your deeds are never as harmful,
Like whatever mankind will share.
He was made lower than angels,
But crowned with glory and honor;
As a fighter against evils,
Yet as humbled like a fawner.
You gave Him dominion of all,
The creative works of Your hands;
Rescuing all those that may fall,
That are following Your commands.
All the beasts grazing in the field,
While I tend my oxen and sheep;
Your hand is acting like a shield,
During the night while they sleep.
Birds that are flying through the air,
Also, fish swimming in the sea;
Seem to be living free from care,
While living without a plea.
