Turn Another Page

Turn another page in this book of life;
Brush aside past worries and senseless strife.
Begin anew your quests or set new goals;
Try and breathe new life into dying coals.

Your goals are only unattainable if you so decide;
So get up off the ground and restore your pride!
Renew your resolve and strengthen your will;
Swallow disappointments till you've had your fill!

A myriad of futures lie spread before you still;
They beckon your exploration if you only will!
Tears and self pity are for the weak of heart;
Now it's time to move on and do your part!

Turn another page in this book of life;
Even if the edges are as keen as a knife.
The only true failure is not to try;
So never surrender, just do or die!
