Come to Bethel and transgress,
Bring sacrifice each morning;
Bring your tithes for God to bless,
Continue in adorning.
Sacrifice for thanksgiving.
Offerings proclaim freewill;
For so you love in living,
To worship for to instill.
God gave you cleanness of teeth,
Lack of bread in your places;
Thanks not what He does bequeath,
Ungrateful of His graces.
He also withheld the rain,
Yet three months to the harvest;
A storm for easing the pain,
Yielding what you did invest.
Without rain crops would wither,
A means for making you think;
Plead to God not to dither,
Replenish water to drink.
You would wander for a drink,
The water wells would be dry;
So, you have to start to think,
His discipline makes you cry.
God infected you with blight,
Allowing spread of mildew;
Your gardens wither from light,
Damaged crops cannot undo.
You return not to the Lord,
From locust and pestilence;
But your mind still has ignored,
Judgment on your fraudulence.
God overthrew some of you,
As plucked out of the burning;
Because you have not been true,
And no concept of learning.
Therefore, God will do to you,
So, prepare to meet your God;
Since unable to construe,
How to give honor and laud.
He forms mountains and the wind,
Making the morning darkness;
For you must be disciplined,
Because the lack of starkness.
