Among the mature to impart,
Though not wisdom of this age;
Rather rulers of your heart,
Doomed to perish at this stage.
We impart secret wisdom,
That God has kept as hidden;
Being stored up in Heaven,
Unrighteous is forbidden.
God decreed of the glory,
That no ruler understood;
Of the crucified story,
That had happened for the good.
For what no eye has yet seen,
Nor any ear ever heard;
That no man has ever been,
But imagined from the Word.
The things that God has prepared,
For those who have loved the Lord;
That He has willingly shared,
Having been in one accord.
For these things God has revealed,
Via the Holy Spirit;
When needed He has unsealed,
Helping you in your merit.
For who knows the thoughts of man,
Except the spirit in him;
Which will expose any plan,
Even on a sudden whim.
No one comprehends His thoughts;
Except the Spirit of God;
Enabled to stop the onslaughts,
That has caused you to be flawed.
Presently, we have received,
Not the spirit of this world;
All because we have believed,
The plan of God that unfurled.
So that we might know these things,
Freely given us by God;
We impart this which it brings,
Praises to honor and laud.
Who has understood His mind,
Has yet able to instruct;
Will judge enabled to find,
Someone with righteous conduct.
