 Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

Forever is His Word,
Firmly fixed in Heaven;
Of all that we have heard,
Being the truth given.

His faithfulness endures,
To each generation;
Unto us reassures,
In having salvation.

He has established earth,
And as it will stand fast;
Potential of its worth,
As it will ever last.

For by His appointment,
It continues this day;
He gives His anointment,
To those who will obey.

His servants are all things,
To His ordinances;
From the joy His Law brings,
Blessed by countenances.

If His Law delights not,
Then we would have perished;
Affliction would have wrought,
Death to what you cherished.

Forget not His precepts,
They have given you life;
For if someone accepts,
He will guide through the strife.

For they have quicken me,
The precepts that have saved;
Precepts that help to see,
Evils that have enslaved.

I go to Him who saves,
His precepts I have sought;
Rescues from who enslaves,
For doing what I ought.

The wicked lie in wait,
Awaiting to destroy;
But the Lord saves my fate,
Salvation to employ.

Perfection has a limit,
His commands are broad;
But they will always fit,
When you honor and laudForever is His Word,
