You`ll now read them with much clearer eyes,
You`ll be able to read the lies written
Beneath the words that were meant to disguise.
The words did not fade these you can still read
But knowledge has made things clearer to you,
The words will show what you longed to hear
But your loving heart helped to deceive you.
To you at the time love could conquer all
But hindsight is great when you know the past,
Your insight now should have come a lot sooner
For it is clear now that it would never last.
It`s easy now to read between the lines
But that was not the case in their day,
They are now just worthless pieces of paper
No meaning, no truth, so throw them away.
