the earth is our mother

the earth
is the only Mother
we must take care of her
it is the Indian way
it needs to be our way

as our response to failed political policy
as our response to the idiocy of failed leadership
as a direct resonse to the greed of corporations

we all must unite
despite the odds that face us
we are more than the sum of them
in number
in unusual persistence
we shall overcome
to save our Mother

we must

for if we do not now
it is us
who will be extinguished
