'' Please Resist The Temptation ''
My spiritual vision,
Was met with derision,
There's no such thing as a ghost,
Believe me you'll know,
When it puts on a show,
You could well be its next host.
They do not exist,
Let's get them dismissed,
It's time to end this conversation,
I said can't you see,
The one next to me,
He replied this requires attestation.
Show me some proof,
Of your imaginary spoof,
I told him you can't place an order,
When they appear,
You mustn't show fear,
I'll take out my E.V.P. recorder.
When voices are heard,
Don't you be scared,
He replied to me, you're off your head,
My art is a craft,
He said don't be daft,
I know you can't talk to the dead.
When I started floating,
He started gloating,
Levitation is a trick of the mind,
When a ghost then appeared,
He said, this is weird,
To believe it I'm so disinclined.
When he heard talking,
He started mocking,
I said, is there nothing you've learned,
He then felt a presence,
In all of its essence,
That's when he said, I'm concerned.
My friend took fright,
Saying this isn't right,
Spirits are a man-made creation,
Though I am undaunted,
He's now being haunted,
To mock,
