Bless our God all you people,
Let the sound of His praise be heard;
Fill the hearts within the temple,
About the glory of His Word.
He kept the souls of the living,
And has not let our feet slip;
Compassionate and forgiving,
That builds our relationship.
For our God has tested us,
He tried us as silver is tried;
Persevered to uphold as thus,
Our faith in the crucified.
He has brought us into the net,
Laid heavy burdens on my back;
But willing to forgive my debt,
And bless me for all that I lack.
He let men ride over my head,
Going through water and fire;
Yet gave abundance to be fed,
And showing me His desire.
The Lord will come into my house,
He will perform His vows to me;
Being as quiet as a mouse,
Giving insight so I can see.
My lips uttered when in trouble,
My mouth promised unto the Lord;
If He would pull me from rubble,
I would remain in one accord.
I would offer burnt offerings,
With smoke of rams to sacrifice;
Offer of bulls and goats that brings,
Never letting this world entice.
All you who fear God come and hear,
Telling what He did for my soul;
Come closer so it becomes clear,
Letting the Lord be in control.
Bless be God be not rejected,
High praise on tongue voice of my prayer;
Let in my heart be reflected,
With any others that I share.
