I urge supplications and prayers,
Intercessions and thanksgivings;
To the Lord for someone who shares,
And strengthen you from your cravings.
For kings and all in high places,
That we may lead a peaceful life;
Dignified with God’s good graces,
Without the toils and the strife.
For it is pleasing in the sight,
Of God our Savior as good;
As He guides us within the light,
For doing all of which we should.
The desire of all people,
For to be saved and know the truth;
Hear and understand the Gospel,
From the beginning of their youth.
Because there is only one God,
Only one between God and man;
Christ Jesus to honor and laud,
To carry out the Father’s plan.
Given as a ransom for all,
At the right time to testify;
Christ has by taking our fall,
Save someone who does not deny.
For this I had been appointed,
As apostle and a teacher;
The reason I was anointed,
For faith and truth as a preacher.
I desire women and men,
No matter where they are to pray;
Lift holy hands anytime when,
Feeling some doubt and start to stray.
Women to be always adorn,
In respectable attire;
Modesty and never to scorn,
Or with envious desire.
For it is proper for women,
In which they profess godliness;
Performing good works that are done,
Reflects on the Lord’s holiness.
Let a woman quietly learn,
In silence with all subjection;
In submissiveness as they earn,
Never to form insurrection.
